Nordic retail has the strictest informal compliance culture in Europe. A supplier who cannot produce a current audit naming the actual production site, a transaction certificate for the fibre and a test certificate for the fabric does not get to the price conversation.

We build the evidence pack as part of the order rather than assembling it afterwards, and we are explicit that the certificates are held by the mills and factories, not by us as a production management company.

• GOTS or GRS transaction certificate issued per shipment in your name

Design language and construction

Nordic product tends to be clean, dry-handle, structurally simple and completely unforgiving. There is no print or trim to hide behind, so the fabric hand, the shade accuracy and the seam quality carry the whole garment.

That pushes work towards specific plants: heavier jersey and fleece houses, good dyehouses for the muted palettes, and knitwear specialists for the wool and wool blend layer that dominates the season.

Volume reality for Nordic brands

Danish brands are typically premium and mid-size, which means style counts are high and quantities per style are modest. That combination is hostile to Asian minimums and perfectly suited to a 100 piece entry point with the option to scale.

Where it gets honest is certification: a dedicated GOTS dye lot needs meaningful volume. We will tell you which of your colours can carry a certified claim and which cannot, before you print the hangtag.
