Stretch fabrics that squat-proof your line

The core of a legging program is 4-way stretch polyester/elastane or polyamide/elastane at 220-280 GSM: heavy enough to be opaque under full stretch, elastic enough for compression, and stable enough to recover after hundreds of wears. Polyamide blends give a softer, cooler hand at a higher price; polyester blends take vivid prints and cost less.

Beyond the core we source brushed 'buttery' interlocks for lifestyle sets, ribbed 4-way stretch for texture-led collections, seamless-look circular knits, and recycled elastane-blend qualities with GRS documentation. Every fabric is stretch-and-recovery tested and checked for opacity under load before we commit your program to it.

Construction: flatlock, coverstitch and shaping

Activewear seams do real mechanical work. We specify flatlock seams where fabric meets skin under friction, coverstitched hems with elastane thread that stretch with the fabric, and gusset constructions that remove centre-front seams from leggings. High waistbands are built with internal elastic or double-layer self-fabric, with optional drawcords and hidden pockets.

Sports bras add engineering: removable pads, elastic underband chassis rated for the support level claimed, adjustable or racer straps, and hardware-free constructions for low-support styles. We match claimed support levels (light, medium, high) to actual construction rather than marketing language.

Fit development that survives real workouts

Activewear returns are driven by fit and opacity failures, so our development loop is deliberately physical: fit samples are assessed on body through squat, stretch and reach tests, waistband roll-down is checked, and grading is verified at the extremes of the size range, not just the base size.

We hold your approved block as the program standard, so a customer who buys your legging in a second colour six months later gets the same fit. Colourways within a knit program can run at 100 pieces each, letting you test shades without inflating inventory.

Colour, print and branding

Solid programs are lab-dipped against Pantone references with tolerance agreed per shade; prints run via sublimation on polyester bases or rotary/digital printing per design. Logos are applied by silicone heat transfer, reflective transfer or tone-on-tone embroidery, and waistband branding can be jacquard-knitted into elastic.

Care and content labels, hangtags and polybag specs are executed to your pack file, with printed inner labels available for a tagless feel against skin.

Compliance, MOQ and delivery

OEKO-TEX certified stretch fabrics are available, relevant for a category worn tight against skin during sweat; partner factories are audited to BSCI or Sedex. MOQ is 300 pieces per style with 100 per colourway inside knit programs; samples in 1-2 weeks; bulk in 4-6 weeks after approval; road freight to the EU in 3-7 days.
