We are a production management company, not a factory or a mill, so the certifications described on this page are held by the partner factories and fabric mills in our network, not by ApparelManufacturerTurkey.com itself. We believe stating that clearly matters, because plenty of sourcing websites blur exactly this line.

What we do is match your project to appropriately certified partners. If your product needs GOTS certified organic production, it runs through GOTS certified mills and factories; if you need OEKO-TEX fabrics, we source them from mills holding valid Standard 100 certificates. Documentation for the specific partners proposed for your project can be shared during quotation.

OEKO-TEX Standard 100: Material Safety

OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certifies that a textile has been laboratory tested against a list of harmful substances, from formaldehyde and heavy metals to restricted dyes, with stricter limits for products worn close to the skin or made for babies. It answers a simple question: is this material safe to wear?

OEKO-TEX certified fabrics are widely available through the Turkish mills we source from, across most product categories we handle. For many European retailers this is the baseline requirement, and it is usually achievable without a significant price premium.

GOTS and GRS: Organic and Recycled Content

GOTS, the Global Organic Textile Standard, certifies organic fibre content along with environmental and social criteria through the whole processing chain. Because GOTS requires every stage to be certified, genuine GOTS production must run through certified mills and certified garment factories, and in our network it does exactly that, via certified partners.

GRS, the Global Recycled Standard, verifies recycled content in a material, plus chain-of-custody and responsible production criteria. If your brand uses recycled polyester or recycled cotton and wants to say so credibly, GRS certified inputs through certified partners are how that claim gets substantiated.

BSCI and Sedex: Social Compliance

BSCI and Sedex are not product certifications; they are social compliance frameworks under which factories are audited on working conditions, wages, working hours, health and safety, and related criteria. A factory does not pass BSCI once and forget it; audits recur and results are graded.

The partner factories in our network are BSCI or Sedex audited, and audit status is one of our vetting criteria before any factory receives client orders. If your company requires a specific audit standard or minimum grade from its suppliers, tell us at enquiry stage and we will propose partners that meet it.

How Certification Works in Practice on Your Order

At enquiry stage, you tell us which certifications your product or your customers require. We then scope the project only to partners holding the relevant, valid certificates, and this can affect price and lead time, which we show transparently in the quotation.

During quotation we can share the supporting documentation: OEKO-TEX certificates for proposed fabrics, GOTS or GRS scope certificates for proposed partners, and audit status for the factories involved. That way your compliance team can verify everything before you commit, not after.
