The difference between a good and a bad experience manufacturing in Turkey is almost never the country; it is the specific factory. Pricing, quality consistency, honesty about capacity and behaviour when problems occur vary enormously between facilities that look identical on a website.

The Vetting Process, Step by Step

Vetting starts with documentation: social compliance audits such as BSCI or Sedex, business registration, export history and references. Then we go and look. On-site visits cover the machine park, line organisation, in-house QC practices, working conditions and the management team we would actually be dealing with under pressure.

Factories that pass the review stage receive trial orders before any client work. A trial order tells us what paperwork cannot: real sampling quality, adherence to a production plan, measurement discipline and how the factory communicates when something goes wrong. Only after a successful trial does a factory take client production.

Capacity Verification: The Unglamorous Essential

The most common cause of late delivery is not slow sewing; it is a factory that accepted an order into capacity it did not have. We verify real available capacity before placement, based on current line loading and confirmed order books, not on the optimistic monthly figure printed in a company profile.

Because the network contains multiple vetted manufacturers per product category, we can schedule production where space genuinely exists. If your preferred partner is full for your window, we tell you and propose the alternative, rather than squeezing your order into a queue where it will quietly slip.

Specialisation Mapping Across Regions

Turkish garment manufacturing is regionally specialised, and we map our network along those lines. Istanbul concentrates fashion-driven cut and sew, outerwear and fast-turn production; Bursa is a centre for knits and technical fabrics; Denizli is famous for cotton, towelling and home-adjacent jersey; Izmir contributes strong knit and casualwear capacity.

Within each region we map partners by real specialisation: gauge ranges for knitwear, wash capabilities for denim, seam-sealing for outerwear, flatlock and bonding for activewear.
