Road freight is the workhorse for UK-bound apparel. Full or part truckloads leave Istanbul and arrive at UK warehouses in roughly four to six days, crossing via the Channel with customs formalities handled en route. For most order sizes this is the best balance of cost and speed.

When a deadline is tight, air freight from Istanbul reaches the UK in one to three days. For very large programmes, short-sea routings are possible but rarely beat road on total time. We book freight through partners we use weekly or hand over to your nominated forwarder, whichever you prefer.

Labelling and Compliance for the UK Market

Garments sold in the UK need fibre composition labelling under UK textile labelling rules, along with care instructions and country of origin marking in line with retail practice. UKCA marking is not relevant for ordinary clothing, so there is no conformity marking hurdle for standard apparel.
