Order volumes we plan for
Volume changes how an order is planned, not whether it can be produced. A 200 piece capsule is cut on a single line with one fabric lot. A 20,000 piece programme is split into fabric lots, colourways and delivery drops, and the planning work starts weeks before the first cut.
We quote against four bands so you can see where your programme sits and what changes as it grows. The entry point stays at 100 pieces per style and colour, which is where most first orders and test runs belong.
- 100 to 499 pieces: launch and test runs, single fabric lot, one delivery.
- 500 to 1,999 pieces: repeat seasonal orders, multiple colourways, better fabric pricing.
- 2,000 to 9,999 pieces: planned seasons, split size ratios, staged deliveries.
- 10,000 pieces and above: allocated lines, booked fabric, delivery drops across the season.
What changes as the quantity grows
Unit price falls mainly because of fabric. At low quantities you buy from stock or pay a surcharge on a short knit run; above a few thousand metres the mill runs your fabric to order, which lowers the price and lets you specify weight, finish and colour exactly.
Trims, labels and packaging follow the same curve. Woven labels, custom hangtags and printed polybags all carry minimums, so at volume they stop being an extra cost line and start being part of the standard specification.
Lead time behaves differently from price. A larger order does not take proportionally longer, because it is spread across more lines, but it does need earlier commitment on fabric and a firm size ratio before cutting starts.
Capacity and factory allocation
We are a production management company working with a vetted network of Turkish factories rather than a single plant, so capacity is allocated per programme instead of being fixed. A jersey programme goes to a knit specialist, an outerwear programme to a factory with the right machinery and finishing.
For large orders we confirm available capacity and reserve it in writing before sampling is signed off, including which factory runs the order, how many lines are allocated and what the delivery drops are. If a programme is too large for one factory we split it and keep fabric, trims and quality standards identical across sites.
Quality control at scale
Volume magnifies mistakes, so inspection is staged rather than left to the end. Fabric is checked on arrival, the first bulk pieces off the line are measured against the approved sample, and inline checks continue while the order runs.
Final inspection is carried out to AQL on a random sample from packed cartons, covering measurements, construction, print and embroidery placement, labelling and packing. You receive the report before the goods ship, which is what allows a buyer to accept a delivery without flying in.
