Why no serious factory publishes a fixed price list

A price list works for finished products on a shelf. Custom manufacturing is not a shelf: the same hoodie silhouette costs very different amounts at 280 versus 450 GSM, in standard versus organic cotton, with a one-colour print versus three embroidered placements, at 300 versus 3,000 pieces. A single printed price for a hoodie is therefore either padded to cover every case or too low to survive contact with a real specification.

Sites that do publish exact prices are usually selling stocked blanks, quoting a bare base spec that your actual design will exceed, or using the list as bait before requoting. None of that helps you budget. Ranges with stated drivers, and a fast quotation against your actual tech pack, do.

Indicative ranges you can actually plan with

The table below shows indicative bulk unit price ranges we see across our vetted Turkish network in 2025-era conditions, assuming reasonable quantities and standard specifications. Use the lower half of a range for simple specs at 1,000-plus pieces, and the upper half for minimum quantities, heavier fabrics or richer decoration.

These figures are planning aids, not offers. Final pricing depends on your tech pack, and every quotation we issue states its assumptions: fabric quality and weight, decoration, quantity, packaging and delivery terms, with a validity window. That is what a real price looks like.

The variables a real quote must pin down

Before any factory can price your garment honestly, five things must be defined: fabric composition and GSM, construction details from the tech pack, decoration types and placements, order quantity per style and colourway, and delivery terms, since EXW, FOB and DDP prices are different numbers for the same garment. Change any one of the five and the price legitimately changes.

This is why our first response to a vague enquiry is questions rather than numbers. Two minutes spent specifying fabric weight and print placements saves days of quote-revision ping-pong, and it protects you from the classic trap of comparing one supplier's bare-spec price against another's full-spec price.

How to get a real quote in 24-48 hours

For standard categories we typically return a written quotation within 24-48 hours covering unit price, sampling cost, MOQ, lead time and payment terms.

If you have a target price, share it. Costing to a target is normal professional practice, and it lets us propose the spec that hits your number instead of quoting a spec that misses it. What we will not do is meet an impossible target by silently downgrading fabric; if the target and the spec conflict, you will hear it plainly with options.

Comparing quotes without getting burned

When you compare our quote against others, align the assumptions first: same fabric weight and quality, same decoration count, same quantity, same Incoterm. A quote that is 15% cheaper on paper but priced EXW against a competitor's DDP, or on 160 GSM fabric against 210, is not cheaper; it is a different product with a different delivery obligation.

Also weigh what surrounds the number: sampling terms and whether costs are credited, inspection standards, communication quality during sampling, and realistic lead times. The cheapest quote in the inbox is frequently the most expensive order of the year. A price you can trust is one whose assumptions you can read.
