Our real minimums, stated plainly

The minimum order with us is 100 pieces per style. On knit programs such as t-shirts, hoodies and sweatpants, those 100 pieces can be split freely across sizes and colourways, so one tee in three colours qualifies. Sizes are split freely within a colourway.

We do not advertise no-minimum production, because for made-to-order manufacturing it does not exist in any honest form. Anyone producing 50 custom garments is either decorating existing blanks, running a sampling studio at sampling prices, or hiding the true cost somewhere you will find it later.

What we can do at 100 pieces is real factory production: your fabric, your fit, your labels, produced on the same lines and to the same inspection standards as larger orders, through our vetted network of Turkish manufacturers.

Why MOQs exist at all

Minimums are driven by the supply chain upstream of sewing. Fabric mills knit and dye in batch quantities; a single dye lot of a standard cotton jersey shade typically covers a few hundred garments, and dyeing less does not cost proportionally less. Trims such as woven labels, zips and drawcords have their own supplier minimums.

On the factory floor, setting up a cutting marker and balancing a sewing line costs the same whether 80 or 800 pieces follow. Below a certain quantity, that fixed cost per garment makes unit prices climb steeply, which is why very small runs are poor value even when someone agrees to make them.

Our 100-piece threshold is roughly where these curves flatten enough for a startup to get sensible unit economics while the factory still runs profitably. That alignment is what makes the MOQ sustainable rather than a teaser.

How startups structure a smart first order

The most common first order we see is one to three styles at 100 pieces each, concentrated on products the brand can actually sell through: a heavyweight tee in two or three colourways, a hoodie, perhaps matching sweatpants. Focused depth beats shallow variety; ten styles at minimum quantity multiplies sampling cost, trim minimums and complexity without improving your launch.

We also help you spend where it shows. Fabric quality and fit are visible to every customer; exotic trims and elaborate packaging usually are not. A 240 GSM tee with a clean neck print and accurate fit reads as premium at a fraction of the complexity of an over-engineered design.

• Sample first; the 1-2 week sample round de-risks the whole order
• Keep size curves realistic: heavier on M and L for most markets
• Reserve budget for a fast repeat of whatever sells out

What a 100-piece order costs and includes

Unit pricing at 100 pieces depends on fabric weight, decoration and construction, so we quote per project rather than publishing a misleading flat rate. The quotation itemises unit price, sampling cost, label and packaging options and delivery, with no volume assumptions hidden inside.

The service level does not shrink with the order size. Small runs get the same workflow as large ones: technical review, sampling in one to two weeks, matched factory placement, inline checks, final AQL inspection and export shipping, with road freight reaching the EU in three to seven days.

When you are not ready for 100 pieces yet

If your budget or validation stage does not support 100 pieces, the honest advice is not to force it. Better options exist: print-on-demand or decorated blanks to test designs, a sample-only development round with us so your tech pack and fit are production-ready, or waiting one season until pre-orders justify the run.

Several of our clients started exactly that way, developed samples first, tested demand, then placed their first 100-piece production with patterns already approved. We would rather meet you at the right moment than sell you an order that strains your cash flow.
