Crewneck production, managed end to end

The crewneck sweatshirt is one of the simplest garments to sew badly and one of the hardest to sew excellently: neck ribs must sit flat, V-inserts must be symmetrical and heavy fleece must feed evenly through every seam. We place crewneck programs with fleece specialists in our vetted Turkish network and manage the project from Istanbul, from fabric booking through AQL inspection.

Fleece and terry qualities we work with

Core crews run on three-thread brushed fleece at 320-360 GSM in 100% cotton or 80/20 cotton-polyester, pre-shrunk and enzyme-softened. Heavyweight programs use 400-450 GSM fleece with a dense, stable face that supports large embroidery without puckering.

French terry at 300-400 GSM keeps the interior loops unbrushed for a cooler, cleaner handle, popular in premium minimalist lines. OEKO-TEX certified qualities are available across the range, organic cotton fleece runs via GOTS-certified partner mills, and garment dyeing delivers washed pigment shades with a vintage character.

Details: ribbing, V-inserts, raglan and set-in sleeves

Classic athletic crews carry a V-insert rib triangle at the front neck, a detail we reproduce with clean symmetry. Neck, cuff and hem ribs are 2x2 or 1x1 with elastane for recovery, and rib depth is tuned to the design, from slim 4 cm hems to chunky 8 cm statement ribs.

Sleeve construction is set-in for a tailored shoulder or raglan for an athletic line; drop-shoulder blocks serve oversized programs. Twin-needle coverstitching, shoulder taping and optional side panels or gussets complete the construction menu, and our pattern team grades full size sets from your base size.

Graphics and branding on fleece

Crewnecks are a canvas: partner print houses produce screen prints with water-based, plastisol, puff and high-density inks, DTF transfers for multi-design capsules, and DTG for photographic art. Embroidery is a crewneck staple, from small chest hits to dense oversized chest lettering and twill applique in collegiate styles.

Private label finishing includes woven or printed neck labels, hem flag labels, care labels for your destination market, hangtags and custom polybags. We seal an approved production sample so bulk decoration and labelling match exactly what you signed off.

Quantities, timing and getting your order delivered

MOQ is 300 pieces per style with 100 pieces per colourway inside knit programs, so a single crew design can run three colours. Sampling takes 1-2 weeks; bulk production runs 4-6 weeks after approval depending on decoration and washes.

Road freight reaches EU destinations in 3-7 days, with air and sea services worldwide, and our team prepares all export documentation. Partner factories are audited to BSCI or Sedex, which supports the compliance files most retailers now request from brands.
