Polos are technically more demanding than tees: they need flat-knitted collars and cuffs, clean placket construction and precise buttonhole placement. We place polo programs only with network partners that run these operations routinely, including units producing for European golf, corporate and casual brands, and we manage the project from Istanbul so you deal with one team, not a factory floor.

Every program moves through the same controlled path: fabric and collar yarn approval, a fit and construction sample, embroidery or print strike-offs, then bulk with in-line checks on placket alignment, collar symmetry and button security before AQL final inspection.

Pique, jersey and performance fabric choices

The classic polo body is 100% combed cotton pique at 190-230 GSM, whose honeycomb texture gives breathability and a smart surface. Double mercerised cotton pique is available for a silkier premium face, while cotton-elastane pique adds recovery for slimmer fits. Interlock and heavy single jersey offer smooth-faced alternatives for fashion polos.

For golf, tennis and uniform programs we source polyester and polyester-elastane performance piques with moisture-wicking finishes. OEKO-TEX certified fabrics are available across cotton and synthetic bases, and organic cotton pique can be arranged through GOTS-certified partner mills.

Collars, plackets and the details buyers inspect first

Collars and cuffs are flat-knitted to order, in solid, tipped or striped designs, with matching yarn dyed to your lab dips. Plackets run two or three buttons as standard, with clean back-tack finishing, reinforced boxes and options for concealed plackets or zip necks. Side vents with taped finishing and a slightly dropped back hem are typical on classic blocks.

Buttons can be corozo-look, pearl-effect, metal or logo-engraved, and we control shade matching between body fabric, collar knit and trims across the whole order. Shoulder taping, twin-needle hems and taped side vents complete a retail-grade construction standard.

Logos: embroidery first, print where it fits

Polo branding is embroidery territory: left-chest logos, sleeve hits and large back embroideries are digitised in-house by partner embroidery units, with thread colours matched to Madeira or Isacord references. Applique and 3D puff embroidery suit bolder fashion polos.

Screen and transfer printing remain available for inner-neck branding, sleeve graphics and uniform numbering. Woven labels, printed neck prints, care labels, hangtags and folded polybag packaging are produced to your brand guidelines so goods arrive ready for retail or corporate distribution.

Quantities, timing and shipping

MOQ is 300 pieces per style with 100 pieces per colourway available inside knit programs, useful when a corporate client needs one design across several colours. Sampling takes 1-2 weeks, including collar knitting trials; bulk production follows in 4-6 weeks after approval.

Road freight delivers to EU destinations in 3-7 days, and air or sea covers the UK, US and other markets, with our team preparing all export documentation. For uniform programs we can also pack by size breakdown per location to simplify your distribution.
