Quick answer
Turkey is one of the world's leading denim regions, and Apparel Manufacturer Turkey manages private label jeans production there through vetted factories and laundries. Five-pocket jeans run in 12-14 oz denim with custom washes, from 300 pieces per style; sampling takes 1-2 weeks and bulk production 4-6 weeks after wash approval.
Denim production in one of the world's key denim countries
Turkey hosts globally recognised denim mills and a deep ecosystem of sewing factories and laundries, particularly around Istanbul and the southeast. We manage your jeans program across this ecosystem: fabric from established mills, sewing at a vetted partner factory suited to your construction level, and washing at laundries whose recipes we have inspected and approved.
Our Istanbul team runs the project end to end, from pattern and fit development through wash approvals to final AQL inspection, so a complex garment involving three or four production sites still feels like working with one supplier.
Denim fabrics from rigid to comfort stretch
Core five-pocket programs run on 12-14 oz denim. Rigid 100% cotton denim in 13-14 oz serves heritage and workwear-inspired lines, while comfort stretch qualities with 1-2% elastane at 12-13 oz dominate modern retail fits. Lighter 10-11 oz denims are available for summer styles and womenswear.
We source from Turkish mills across price tiers, with options including sulphur-black and ecru bases, slub-character warps for vintage grain and stretch-recovery constructions that resist bagging at the knee. OEKO-TEX certified denims are available, and laundry partners offer lower-impact wash technologies such as ozone and laser finishing where programs require them.
- Rigid 100% cotton denim 13-14 oz
- Comfort stretch 12-13 oz with 1-2% elastane
- Lightweight 10-11 oz for summer fits
- Black, ecru and overdye bases
- Laser and ozone finishing available
Washes: rinse, stone, enzyme, acid and hand finishing
Wash development is where jeans become a brand. Standard recipes include rinse wash for clean dark indigo, stone wash for classic mid-blue abrasion, enzyme wash for softness with controlled fading, and acid wash for high-contrast marbled effects. Bleach and overdye treatments extend the palette.
Hand finishing adds character: whiskering, chevrons, hand sanding, 3D crinkle, grinding on hems and pockets, and destruction from subtle abrasion through to open knee rips with or without backing. Each wash is developed as a leg panel or full garment standard and approved by you before bulk enters the laundry.
Construction, hardware and trims
Five-pocket construction runs on dedicated denim machinery: felled seams, chain-stitched hems where specified, bartacks at stress points and riveted front pockets. Hardware is YKK or equivalent for zip flies, with custom shank buttons and rivets carrying your logo through affordable tooling.
Trims complete the identity: embossed or debossed leather-look and jacron back patches, printed pocket bags, woven size and brand labels, contrast or tonal stitching in classic gold, and embroidery on back pockets to establish your signature arc.
Fits, sampling and grading
We develop straight, slim, tapered, relaxed, wide-leg and baggy blocks for men, and high-rise skinny, straight, mom, flare and barrel fits for women. Fit development starts from your reference garment or tech pack, with a proto in 1-2 weeks; wash development can run in parallel to save time.
Grading follows your market's sizing convention, waist-inseam for classic denim or EU numeric sizing for fashion programs, and the sealed size-set defines measurement tolerances checked at final inspection.
Order flow, MOQ and shipping
MOQ is 300 pieces per style, which can typically split across two washes of the same fit depending on laundry minimums, confirmed at quotation. Bulk production runs 4-6 weeks after sample and wash approval, reflecting the extra laundry stage denim requires.
Finished jeans travel by road to the EU in 3-7 days, or by air and sea worldwide, with export documentation prepared by our team. Send your fit references and wash directions to info@apparelmanufacturerturkey.com to receive a full development plan and quotation.
