What your first order looks like

A typical first collection is three to five styles at 300 pieces each, split across sizes and one to three colourways. For knit programs such as t-shirts and hoodies, colourways can start at 100 pieces each, which lets you test more looks without inflating total volume.

Sampling takes 1-2 weeks per round. You approve fit, fabric and print on a physical sample before any bulk fabric is cut, and bulk production then runs 4-6 weeks. From first enquiry to goods in hand, most startups should plan roughly three months, which is worth building into your launch calendar.

Payment is staged rather than all up front, and every cost is itemised in the quotation: unit price, sampling, labels, packaging and freight. No surprise invoices at the end.

Keeping your budget honest
