Quick answer
Womenswear manufacturing in Turkey covers jersey and woven categories from dresses and blouses to denim and knitwear, produced through specialist factories rather than one plant. Orders start at 100 pieces per style and colour, with sampling in one to two weeks and bulk production in four to six weeks.
Categories we produce
Womenswear is not one factory type. Jersey tops, woven blouses, tailored trousers, denim and knitwear are each made well by different specialists, which is why the category is allocated per product rather than placed with a single plant.
Across the network we produce day dresses and occasion dresses, blouses and shirts, jersey tops and t-shirts, skirts, trousers and tailored pieces, denim, knitwear and matching co-ord sets.
- Dresses in jersey, woven and knitted fabrics.
- Blouses, shirts and jersey tops.
- Skirts, trousers and tailored pieces.
- Denim, knitwear and co-ord sets.
Fit and grading
Womenswear lives or dies on fit, and fit is a block, not a measurement chart. We work from your existing block where you have one, or develop one against a reference garment and confirm it on a fit sample before grading.
Grading is then produced across the full size set you sell, in EU or UK sizing, and the graded specification is measured on the pre-production sample so bulk is checked against real numbers rather than the original spec sheet.
Fabrics
Turkish mills supply viscose and viscose blends, cotton poplin and twill, jersey and interlock, linen and linen blends, crepe and satin, plus denim from the mills around Istanbul and Denizli.
Fabric approval comes before sampling. Weight, drape, shrinkage and colour fastness are confirmed on the actual bulk quality, because a dress that hangs correctly in a sample fabric and badly in bulk is the most common failure in this category.
Order sizes and seasons
The entry point is 100 pieces per style and colour, which suits a capsule or a test drop. Repeat sellers then move into planned seasons where fabric is booked ahead and deliveries staged.
For larger programmes the same style can be split across factories by fabric type, keeping the block, grading and trims identical so the customer sees one collection rather than three different fits.
