Crop tops span several categories: cropped tees, fitted rib tanks and singlets, baby tees, cropped sweatshirts and hoodies, and activewear crops with shelf support. Our network covers all of them, and our Istanbul team routes each style to the partner unit with the right machinery, from fine-gauge rib specialists to fleece factories for cropped sweats.

Because cropped garments expose fit issues immediately, we invest sampling time in hem line placement, body length by size and stretch recovery. A cropped block that sits right on the base size is graded carefully so it sits right across the whole size run.

Fabrics that hold their shape

Fitted crops run on 95/5 cotton-elastane single jersey at 180-220 GSM or 2x2 rib knits at 220-280 GSM, whose elastane content delivers cling with recovery. Baby tees and relaxed crops use 100% combed cotton jersey at 180-240 GSM, while cropped sweatshirts use the same 320-450 GSM brushed fleece and French terry platform as our full-length programs.

For activewear crops we source polyamide-elastane and recycled polyester-elastane performance knits with squat-proof opacity and moisture management. OEKO-TEX certified fabrics are available across the range, with organic cotton options through GOTS-certified partner mills.

Hems, necklines and support options

Hem finish defines the crop: clean twin-needle coverstitch, raw-edge for a deconstructed look, lettuce-edge on ribs, or elasticated under-bust hems for fitted styles. Necklines run crew, scoop, square and halter, finished with self-fabric binding or matching rib.

Activewear and fitted crops can be built with shelf linings, removable pads and wider underbands. On cropped fleece we mirror full-size construction, including ribbed hems, drawcord hoods on cropped zip styles and bartacked pocket details, just repositioned for the shorter body.

Prints, embroidery and label options for small garments

Crop tops carry smaller print areas, so placement matters: partner print houses run screen printing, DTF and DTG scaled to chest and back panels, plus baby-tee style mini front graphics and sleeve hits. Small chest embroidery and lettuce-edge contrast stitching are popular finishing touches.

Labelling can be sewn woven labels, printed inner-neck logos for a label-free feel against skin, or tearaway labels. Care labelling is produced to your destination market rules, with hangtags and polybags to your artwork.

Program size, sampling and shipping

MOQ is 300 pieces per style, and knit programs allow colourways from 100 pieces, which suits crop drops built around one block in several colours. Sampling takes 1-2 weeks, and we recommend a wear test on stretch styles before approval. Bulk runs 4-6 weeks after sign-off.
