Swimwear Manufacturer in Turkey
We manage swimwear production through Turkish factories experienced in stretch construction, linings and swim-specific trims. Bikinis, one-pieces, swim shorts and resortwear are developed and produced under one Istanbul-based team, with fabrics chosen for chlorine, salt and sun rather than just the lookbook.

Quick answer
Swimwear is manufactured in Turkey on 180-210 GSM polyamide-elastane tricot for fashion programs and chlorine-resistant polyester/PBT for performance lines, with linings and swim-specific trims handled by experienced stretch factories. Apparel Manufacturer Turkey develops bikinis, one-pieces and swim shorts from Istanbul; MOQ is 300 pieces per style with colourways from 100 pieces.
Swim fabrics that survive the pool
Fashion swim programs typically run on 180-210 GSM polyamide/elastane tricot with a soft hand and high colour brilliance; performance and hotel-pool programs are better served by chlorine-resistant polyester/PBT tricot, which trades a little softness for dramatically longer elastane life in treated water. We advise per program rather than defaulting to the cheaper option.
Ribbed, crinkle, shiny cire and terry-backed swim qualities support fashion direction, and recycled polyamide fabrics with GRS documentation are available for sustainability-led lines. All swim styles are fully or partially lined in swim-grade polyamide lining, with power mesh where control panels are designed in.
Construction, cups and trims
Swimwear is small but technical: elastic application determines whether a suit stays put wet. We use rubber or chlorine-resistant elastane elastics sewn with zigzag or applied via clean-finish turned edges, flatlock or overlock-and-topstitch seams, and bar-tacked strap joins. Removable and sewn-in cups, moulded and gathered constructions, underwire channels and boning for structured styles are all within scope.
Trims are specified for water exposure: corrosion-resistant, nickel-safe rings, sliders and clasps, colourfast drawcords, and heat-transfer or printed labels that do not chafe. UPF-rated fabrics are available for swim shirts and kids' swim programs where sun protection is part of the offer.

Fit and print development
Swim fit is unforgiving: coverage, leg-line height and wet behaviour must be assessed on body, and our sampling loop includes wet testing where the program justifies it. Grading is checked at size extremes because stretch garments distort differently across the curve.
Prints run via sublimation on polyester-based fabrics or on printed polyamide bases from our mills; placement prints and engineered borders are positioned at the pattern stage. Lab dips and strike-offs are approved before bulk, and colourfastness to chlorinated and sea water is tested on the chosen quality.
Compliance and honest claims
Swimwear touches skin for hours in sun and water, so material safety matters: OEKO-TEX certified fabrics are available across the swim range, and metal trims are specified nickel-safe for skin contact. Where a fabric carries a UPF rating or chlorine-resistance claim, the claim comes from the mill's test data, which we share with you rather than restating loosely.
Partner factories are audited to BSCI or Sedex. Hygiene liners, care labelling for swim (rinse after use, no wringing) and EU fibre-content labelling are executed as standard.
Program economics
MOQ is 300 pieces per style with 100 per colourway inside knit-based programs, which suits swim's colour-driven merchandising: one silhouette can carry three or four shades without a heavy stock bet. Sampling takes 1-2 weeks, bulk 4-6 weeks after approval, and 3-7 day EU road freight allows in-season replenishment during the summer window when it actually matters.
